The Stage is one of the best places-and one of the best values-for breakfast in all of New York. Our oversized omelettes, home-made pancakes and extensive array of smoked fish and bagels make breakfast at The Stage one of New York's best kept secrets among the traveling cognoscenti as well as generations of New Yorkers.

Lunch and dinner at The Stage Deli is an experience everyone should enjoy once-after that, you'll come back on your own as so many of our patrons have over the years.
In part, it is our proximity to New York theater and midtown activities. In part, it is our cozy environment and classic New York deli staff; more than anything else, however, it is our food that has prompted people to come back to The Stage for generations.

| Appetizers |
True to our Eastern European roots, The Stage offers traditional appetizers, just like Bubbe used to make: a heaping mound of house made chopped liver, pirogies, gefilte fish, fried kreplach, hot or cold borscht and creamed herring. For the purists, no one can touch our matzah ball soup, stuffed cabbage or stuffed derma. Our classic kasha varnishkas will bring tears to Zayde's eyes.

| Sandwiches |
The long running argument at The Stage Deli centers on which is better: our over-stuffed first-cut corned beef sandwiches or our equally generous pastrami sandwiches. The fact is we sell a lot of each. We also sell a lot of triple-decker combinations with corned beef and pastrami, as well as other first rate deli meats. These special sandwiches—24 variations at last count— are named after and dedicated to celebrities from the stage, screen and sports. We also have a full range of delicious salads.

| Traditional Entrees |
At the Stage, we celebrate "the old country" with classic favorites like Boiled Chicken in the Pot, Roast Chicken, Homemade Meat Loaf and Hungarian Goulash. Our Roumanian Skirt Steak is one of the best in the city and so is our sliced Beef Brisket. For dairy lovers, we serve outstanding cheese blintzes and heaping smoked fish platters.

| "A little something sweet" is always nice after a meal, even one so substantial as the Stage Deli experience. Apple Strudel, Rugelach and Carrot Cake are among the favorites, but none shines so brightly as our famous Stage Deli Cheesecake, a mammoth portion that easily feeds 2—3 people. Topped with strawberries, cherries, strawberries or Oreos-or our delightfully unadorned version-Stage Deli cheesecake is something that shouldn't be missed. |
